Rules

By connecting to Equinox or using any of our services, you automatically agree to the rules outlined below. These rules are in place to protect the integrity of the server and community. It is your responsibility to read and understand all rules before participating in gameplay or server activities.

🔹 General Rules

🫱 Respect

• Treat every player with kindness and fairness, no matter their rank, experience, or play style. Everyone deserves to enjoy the server equally.

• Staff members’ actions and decisions are final. If you believe a mistake has been made, contact staff privately and politely — do not argue in public chat.

• Keep chat friendly and appropriate for all players. Avoid swearing, slurs, or any form of hate speech.

• Whether you win or lose, show good sportsmanship. No toxic behavior, gloating, or rage in chat.

• Respect the server itself by following all rules and guidelines. Help keep the community welcoming, inclusive, and enjoyable for everyone.

🚫 No Bullying

• Bullying of any kind will not be tolerated on this server. This includes name-calling, spreading rumors, exclusion, or making others feel unwelcome

• Always use kind and respectful language in public and private chats. If your message could hurt or embarrass someone — don’t send it.

• Do not repeatedly target, tease, or provoke other players. This includes in-game actions like spawn-killing, griefing specific players, or following them to annoy.

• If someone asks you to stop — stop immediately. Continuing to bother or provoke another player counts as harassment.

• Racism, sexism, homophobia, or any form of hate speech is strictly forbidden. We are an inclusive community — everyone is welcome here.

• If you see bullying or harassment happening, report it to staff right away. Don’t encourage or join in — help keep the community positive.

• Be the reason someone enjoys playing here. Encourage others, offer help when needed, and set a good example for new players.

❌ No Inappropriate Content

• This server is a safe and welcoming space for all ages. Do not share or create any content that could be considered offensive, sexual, violent, or otherwise inappropriate.

• Do not construct or display anything that contains sexual themes, hate symbols, or offensive imagery. All builds should be appropriate for players of any age.

• Avoid swearing, explicit jokes, or suggestive comments in any chat — including public, private, and voice channels. Keep communication friendly and suitable for everyone.

• Do not post or share links, images, videos, or files that contain NSFW (Not Safe For Work), explicit, or disturbing content — even as a “joke.”

• If your server has Discord or web-connected chat, these rules apply there too. Anything you share under this community’s name must follow the same standards.

• Usernames, nicknames, skins, and profile pictures must be clean and non-offensive. Staff may ask you to change them if they violate this rule.

• If you’re unsure whether something is appropriate — ask a staff member first. It’s always better to check than risk breaking the rules.

🔐 Hacking, Cheating & VPNs

• Using hacked clients, x-ray mods, auto-clickers, or any unfair advantage is strictly prohibited. Only cosmetic or client-side performance mods (like OptiFine or shaders) are allowed.

• Abusing glitches, exploits, or bugs to gain an advantage — including item duplication, illegal enchantments, or bypassing systems — is not allowed. Report any bugs to staff immediately instead of using them.

• Taking items or resources that don’t belong to you, even through technical loopholes, is considered stealing. Play fairly and respect other players’ progress.

• Using VPNs, proxies, or alternate accounts to avoid bans, mutes, or restrictions will result in a permanent blacklist. If you use a VPN for privacy or connection stability, contact staff before joining.

• Any attempt to evade punishments — including using another account or IP address — will lead to extended or permanent bans.

• This server values fair gameplay and honest competition. If you can’t achieve something without hacks, cheats, or exploits — it’s not allowed here.

⚔️ Gameplay & Fair Play

• Everyone should have an equal chance to succeed. Do not use exploits, hacked clients, macros, or anything that gives you an advantage over others.

• Do not destroy, steal from, or alter other players’ builds without permission. If your server has specific PvP or raiding areas, make sure to follow the local rules there.

• Do not build too close to others, and avoid claiming or blocking areas around someone’s base. Always check boundaries before starting new projects.

• Avoid abusing game mechanics, server features, or commands for unfair gain. Examples include bypassing cooldowns, abusing commands, or exploiting economy systems.

• If it’s not yours — don’t take it. Even if something looks “abandoned,” ask a staff member before looting or claiming it.

• Help new players, cooperate on community builds, and contribute to a positive environment. Good teamwork makes the server more fun for everyone.

• Avoid excessive terrain destruction, unnecessary fire spread, or mob overbreeding. Keep the world clean and enjoyable for all players.

📢 Advertising

• Advertising other Minecraft servers, Discords, websites, or communities without staff permission is strictly prohibited. This includes chat messages, books, signs, or any other in-game methods. [ Blacklisted Servers: Pinecraft Equestrian, Equiscraft, Pixelcraft Equestrian ]

• Do not use public chat to promote YouTube channels, Twitch streams, social media, or content unless it’s directly related to this server and approved by staff.

• Sending players private messages (DMs) to advertise another server, Discord, or service is not allowed and may result in a mute or ban.

• Only share links that are safe, appropriate, and server-related — such as community events, screenshots, or official server resources. Suspicious or unrelated links will be removed.

• Official partners, content creators, or event hosts may advertise with prior approval from server management. If you’re unsure, always ask a staff member first.

• Our chat and community platforms are meant for conversation and connection, not spam or promotion. Keep discussions focused on gameplay and fun!

💬 Chat Etiquette

• Each chat channel has a specific purpose — please use them appropriately. Keep general chat for conversation, trade chat for trading, and help channels for questions.

• To keep communication clear for everyone, global and public chats must be in English. You’re welcome to use other languages in private messages or group chats.

• Do not spam messages, commands, emojis, or repeated text. This includes excessive caps, random characters, or message flooding that clutters the chat.

• Treat others politely — no arguments, name-calling, or drama in public chat. If you have an issue, take it to private messages or contact a staff member.

• Do not promote other servers, Discords, YouTube channels, or social media without staff permission. (See the Advertising rules for full details.)

• Use voice channels responsibly — no screaming, yelling, or playing loud music/soundboards. Be respectful of others’ comfort and avoid interrupting conversations.

• Avoid swearing, offensive jokes, or inappropriate topics. Remember: our chat should be safe and welcoming for everyone.

• If a staff member asks you to change your behavior in chat or voice, comply immediately. Moderation decisions are final and meant to keep the community positive.

🔒 Accounts & Privacy

• You are fully responsible for everything that happens on your account. Keep your login information secure — “My friend did it” is not an acceptable excuse for rule-breaking.

• Alt accounts are not allowed unless you have explicit permission from server staff. Using alts to bypass bans, mutes, cooldowns, or limits will result in a permanent blacklist.

• Never share personal or sensitive information — such as real names, locations, passwords, emails, or social media — with anyone on the server. Staff will never ask for your password or private details.

• Do not attempt to access, expose, or share another player’s private information under any circumstances. This includes screenshots, messages, or personal data without consent.

• Each player should use their own account only. Sharing accounts or logging into someone else’s profile can lead to confusion, false punishments, or security issues — and is strictly prohibited.

• If you believe someone’s account has been compromised or used unfairly, report it to staff immediately. Quick reporting helps protect both players and the server community.
