🪥 What Does a Dentist Do?

Certified equine dentists are responsible for:

  • Checking and floating horse teeth

  • Correcting sharp edges, hooks, or malocclusions

  • Applying fillings or minor treatments

  • Assisting in long-term oral care and comfort


🏫 Becoming a Dentist

To become certified:

  1. Attend dentistry classes at Harpbury University

  2. Pass the Dental Certification Exam

  3. Submit a formal application for staff approval

  4. Upon acceptance, gain access to dental tools and actions

📝 You must apply after passing the exam — it's not automatic.

🧪 How to Perform Dental Care

  1. Right-click your horse to open the care menu

  2. Navigate to the Health tab and then into Dentist

  3. Choose a tool and apply treatment based on your diagnosis

  4. The horse’s oral health may improve over time or after multiple sessions (plugin-dependent)


🧭 Where to Work

Equine dentists operate from the Dental Suite at Harpbury Health Estate.

The suite includes:

  • Exam stalls with mouth gags

  • Lighting and tool stations

  • Soft feed prep areas for post-care diets


⚠️ No Auto-Dentist

There is no automatic NPC for dental care. Players must seek a certified player dentist to resolve dental issues.
