π§ββοΈ Judging
Timing is handled at the start bell and finish line using stopwatches or plugin-based timers. Judges track exact finish order and times.
β Disqualifications
Signs of lameness or injury before or during the race
Tripping or falling mid-race
Leaving the course by exiting the fenced track
β οΈ Penalties
Penalties apply to ensure fairness between weight classes and age/gender groups:
Horses carrying less weight than competitors
Older or male horses gaining unfair advantage
Note: These are rare, as horses should be grouped appropriately.
π Scoring
Winner = first horse to cross the finish line with no disqualifications or penalties.
If penalties apply, they are subtracted from total time. Fastest adjusted time wins.
