Aging System

Horses on Equinox age in real time, with one in-game year equal to 4 real-life weeks (30 days). This makes horse progression feel natural and immersive. Horses live a maximum of 45 years and can be bred from the age of 6 years.

Foals

Foals will remain small until they are 3 in-game years old (3 months) and will become ridable at 4 in-game years old (4 months).

Racehorses are an exemption to this rule - they mature faster and are fully grown and ridable at 2 in-game years old (2 months).
